My customer was trying to keep the only image of her father safe so that other members of her family could get copies. She was distraught to learn her image had deteriorated so badly. We were able to give new life to this photograph.

Image

Flash Removal

In this photo, the mirror in the background caused the flash to reflect and obstruct the subjects. I was asked to remove the flash.

Image

Porch Sitters

This image had faded and cracked. We were able to restore the color and repair the scratches.

Image

Foreground Removal

Our customer is the little girl on the tricycle and her grandfather is in the background with her. She wanted us to remove her sisters and cousins from the foreground so that the image would be just her and her grandfather.

Image

Document Restore

This wedding certificate had discolored and was missing parts. We were able to return it to its previous state.

Image

Photo Retouch

We were able to color correct this image and make it larger for our customer.

Image

Background Removal

My customer brought the only image he had of his deceased pet, Gus. We had previously made a portrait of his current pet and my customer wanted to start a pet portrait wall to honor all of his previous pets. We were able to take his original snapshot and make it appear that Gus was in the studio.

Image

Photo Retouch

Our customer had an old calendar from her grandfather's business. We restored the image to its original colors and repaired the creases and cracks.

Image

Tintype

This sweet image of a lady in her apron was originally a tintype. We restored the image and she now has new life.

Newberry Bandwagon

This photograph of a bandwagon on Main Street at the corner of Caldwell was taken in the late 1800s. The old Newberry Hotel can be seen with 'watchers' in the windows.

Image

Photo From Xerox

This was the only image a church had of one of their former pastors. They were making a portrait wall of all their preachers and the 'orginal' Xerox did not match the others. Now it does.

Image

Color Correction

This was the only image my customer had of his grandmother. The once yellow and faded image was restored by adding details to her dress. The image is much more like the original now.

This Discharge from the Navy in World War II was very stained and in need of repair.

Who We Are

I have always loved taking photos since receiving my first camera as a small child. It has always been much more of a passion than a career. My specialty is the restoration of old photographs, tin-types, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and glass negatives.

For me, it is the ultimate satisfaction when I am able to make history come "alive" by taking old, faded, stained, and torn family photos and make them look new again. Seeing and hearing the appreciation from family members, many of whom break into tears when they first see their "restored" images, is completely fulfilling!
