I have always loved taking photos since receiving my first camera as a small child. It has always been much more of a passion than a career. My specialty is the restoration of old photographs, tin-types, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and glass negatives.
For me, it is the ultimate satisfaction when I am able to make history come "alive" by taking old, faded, stained, and torn family photos and make them look new again. Seeing and hearing the appreciation from family members, many of whom break into tears when they first see their "restored" images, is completely fulfilling!
I received a bronze medal in the Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. I received my Master Artist Degree through PPA in 2019. I am a member of the American Society of Photographers and won the Image of Distinction 2021, first place in Artist Restoration. I was a 2020 Grand Imaging Awards Finalist in 2020.
I was the Artist of the Year in the Professional Photographers of South Carolina in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
I received a diamond medal award in the International Print Competition of 2021.
I was a Grand Imaging Awards finalist in 2021 in restoration.
